Swap allows you to exchange digital assets directly within Gnosis App using liquidity powered by CoW Protocol. Swap helps you trade tokens across multiple liquidity sources while optimizing your trade execution.
🔄 How Swap works?
When you create a swap in Gnosis App, you sign an intent to trade instead of interacting directly with a liquidity pool. The order is submitted to CoW Protocol, where competing solvers search for the most efficient execution route using aggregated onchain liquidity.
🧠 Understand Coincidence of Wants
A Coincidence of Wants, or CoW, happens when two users want opposite sides of the same trade. Instead of routing both trades through external liquidity pools, CoW Protocol can match these orders directly. This may help reduce trading costs, slippage, and price impact.
1️⃣ Make your first swap
To create a swap in Gnosis App:
Select Wallet tab
Tap Swap
Select the asset you want to sell
Select the asset you want to obtain
Review the quote, network fees, and estimated output
Confirm and sign the transaction with your wallet
Once submitted, the order is processed through CoW Protocol and settled on your wallet.
