Having a common trust

Learn about Common trust and its implications.

A common trust relationship exists when a user trusts someone who, in turn, trusts another user. For example, if Gnosis App User A trusts User B, and User B trusts User C, then User B becomes a common trust between User A and User C. This creates a chain of trust where User B acts as a bridge of credibility between the two users.

When User A views User C’s profile, User B may appear in the Common Trust section to show that someone already trusted by A also trusts C. This helps users evaluate profiles based on endorsements from their trusted network. Common trust is directional, meaning it only applies when User B trusts User C, not the other way around. If no such relationship exists, the Common Trust section will remain empty
