Cashback is ending
You keep earning cashback until the end of the final reward period, Saturday 29 August 2026 at 23:59. Your final distribution arrives Tuesday 1 September 2026, following the normal weekly schedule.
gCRC that has already been distributed to your wallet stays in your wallet. Ending the program does not remove rewards you have already been paid.
Card spending from Sunday 30 August onward does not earn cashback.
The G is becoming a collectible
From 1 September 2026:
The G no longer adds its extra 1 gCRC per €1 spent.
No new G will be issued. Both routes to earning one — referrals and backing — are closing.
Your G stays in your wallet. It is not removed, revoked, or burned. You keep the badge on your profile and the G app theme.
The shop is pausing
From 1 September 2026 the shop/marketplace is on pause. We are shaping it around what we build next.
Orders placed and confirmed before the pause are unaffected and will be fulfilled as normal.

If you became a backer partly because of these benefits, and these changes affect the commitment you made, we want to hear from you.

Questions
Do I lose the gCRC I've already earned? No. gCRC already distributed to your wallet stays there.
Does my card still work? Yes. Nothing about your card, your account, or your funds changes.
What can I still do with my gCRC? You can top up your Gnosis Card with it, and you can swap it to other currencies. Both continue as normal.
Will cashback come back? we plan to build something more aligned with Circles. If we announce a new cashback program, we'll let you know!
I spent on my card during the final week. When do I get it? Tuesday 1 September 2026.
Is my G being taken away? No. Your G stays in your wallet permanently. It stops providing its cashback boost on 1 September 2026, and no new ones will be issued.
Can I still become a backer? Yes, but backing no longer earns cashback, and it no longer makes you eligible for a G. The other benefits — the Backer badge, gCRC swapping, and the backer group, are unchanged. See Becoming a Circles Backer.
