We are preparing a revamped Gnosis Card cashback program with new mechanics for everyone, including Backers and non-Backers.
While the new program is being prepared:
Backers continue receiving gCRC cashback under the current mechanics.
Non-Backers stop earning cashback from the reward period beginning July 19, 2026.
The final cashback distribution for non-Backers is scheduled for July 21, 2026.
We understand that cashback is an important part of the card experience, and we are sorry for any disappointment or confusion caused by this transition.
What is changing?
The current cashback program is moving through a temporary transition period before the redesigned program launches.
For Backers
Backers will continue receiving cashback under the current reward mechanics for the next few weeks.
Current GNO and G NFT reward benefits remain available to eligible Backers during this temporary period.

For Non-Backers
For non-Backers, the current cashback program ends with the reward period running from Sunday, July 12th to Saturday to July 18th, 2026
Their final cashback distribution is scheduled for Tuesday, July 21, 2026.
Card spending from July 19, 2026 onward will not earn cashback under the current program for non-Backers.
Why is the program being revamped ?
The current cashback model has been an important way for cardholders to earn gCRC and participate in the Gnosis App ecosystem. We are redesigning the program to introduce mechanics that are more sustainable for Gnosis App, funnier for the userbase and includes Rep Score dynamics.
Current cashback mechanics for Backers
During the transition, eligible Backers continue receiving gCRC cashback under the existing structure. The current GNO-based reward levels are:

An eligible G NFT can add 1 additional gCRC per €1 spent. The maximum weekly reward remains subject to the applicable cap. These mechanics are temporary and may change when the revamped cashback program launches.
How GNO is counted ?
For eligible Backers, the GNO balance held in the primary Gnosis App wallet can affect the reward rate and weekly cap.
GNO benefits may depend on the weekly balance snapshot. GNO added or moved during a reward period may only begin counting from the next applicable snapshot.
GNO held elsewhere, directly staked GNO, or liquid-staked GNO may not count as regular GNO for the current cashback calculation unless explicitly supported.
How the G NFT affects cashback
During the transition, an eligible Backer who holds the G NFT may continue receiving its current card cashback boost.
The G NFT and GNO balance are separate reward factors.
The G NFT benefit described here applies only to the temporary current cashback mechanics. Its role may change under the revamped program.

Reward periods and distribution
The current reward week runs from Sunday to Saturday. Eligible rewards are calculated after the reward period and distributed in gCRC to the primary Gnosis App wallet.
For non-Backers:
Final eligible period: July 12–18, 2026
Final scheduled distribution: July 21, 2026
For Backers, cashback continues under the existing schedule during the temporary transition.
What counts as eligible card spending ?
A card payment must meet the current program requirements to qualify. A transaction may not qualify if it is:
Pending or not fully settled
Declined or cancelled
Refunded or reversed
In an excluded merchant or transaction category
Outside the applicable reward period
Above the weekly reward cap
Otherwise ineligible under the program rules
A successful card payment does not automatically guarantee cashback.
Pending transactions
A transaction generally needs to settle before it can be included in the reward calculation. For non-Backers, a payment that remains pending or settles outside the final eligible period may not be included in the July 21 distribution. The transaction date alone does not guarantee eligibility if the payment has not completed the required settlement process.
Reward estimates
Any cashback estimate shown before distribution should be treated as an estimate rather than a guaranteed payout. The final amount can change because of:
Transaction settlement
Refunds or reversals
Excluded transaction categories
GNO snapshot timing
G NFT eligibility
Weekly caps
The applicable reward period
The distributed amount is the final result of the reward calculation.
Previously distributed rewards
gCRC already distributed to your Gnosis App wallet remains in your wallet.
The transition affects cashback earned under the current program going forward. It does not remove rewards that were already paid.
What happens when the new program launches?
The revamped cashback program is intended be more sustainable, fun and connected to Circles economy via the Rep Score.
Date, reward rates, eligibility requirements, caps, and other mechanics will be shared once they are confirmed.
Until then:
Backers continue under the current cashback mechanics.
Non-Backers no longer earn cashback from the period beginning July 19.
No future reward rate or benefit should be assumed before it is officially announced.
Responsible use of cashback
Cashback is intended to reward genuine card usage. Fake accounts, artificial spending, circular transactions, self-dealing, or attempts to manipulate the reward system may lead to rewards being delayed, withheld, cancelled, or excluded. Gnosis App may also blacklist addresses from gCRC cashback, referral rewards, or both when abusive activity is detected or reasonably suspected.
