Your Rep Score may show 0 if
Your account is not part of the Gnosis group yet,
Your account is new,
Gnosis App does not yet have enough reputation signals for your account.
This guide explains why your Rep Score may be 0, what it means, and how it can improve over time.
Before you start
Rep Score is a reputation signal in Gnosis App. It helps determine how much of your newly minted CRC can become spendable gCRC. A higher Rep Score means more of your newly minted CRC can become gCRC.
A Rep Score of 0 does not necessarily mean something is wrong with your account. It usually means your account does not yet meet the conditions required for a higher score, or that Gnosis App does not yet have enough positive reputation signals for your account.
What Rep Score 0 means
If your Rep Score shows 0, your newly minted CRC does not currently become spendable gCRC.
At Rep Score 0, your CRC remains Personal CRC. As your Rep Score improves, a larger share of your newly minted CRC can become gCRC.
Why your Rep Score may be 0
Your Rep Score may show 0 for several reasons.
The most common reason is that your account is not yet a member of the Gnosis group. Accounts that are not part of the Gnosis group have a Rep Score of 0.
Your Rep Score may also show 0 if:
your account is new
you have not built mutual connections yet
you have not participated much in the Circles ecosystem
your account does not have enough trust signals
your activity looks too limited, inactive, or unusual
your account has not completed available verification or attestation steps
your reputation data has not updated yet
your previous temporary boosts have decayed over time
Rep Score is based on patterns over time, not only one action.
Gnosis group membership and Rep Score
To have a Rep Score above 0, your account needs to be part of the Gnosis group.
If your account is not a member of the Gnosis group, your Rep Score will show 0, even if you are using Gnosis App.
This does not necessarily mean your account is broken. It means your account has not yet reached the membership or trust state required for a positive Rep Score.
Why Rep Score can change while the system adjusts
Circles Rep Score is still being adjusted and improved. Some members may see their score change as the system becomes more accurate, new signals are added, or older temporary boosts decay.
A score change does not always mean you did something wrong. It may reflect changes in reputation signals, group membership, boost decay, or improvements to how Rep Score is calculated.
Activity that may keep your Rep Score low
Your Rep Score may stay low if your account activity looks extractive or does not show meaningful participation.
This can include:
quickly transferring away most of your gCRC
repeatedly selling or swapping away gCRC
using the account only to extract value
connecting mostly with low-trust or inactive accounts
activity that looks automated or bot-like
creating circular or artificial transfer patterns
Normal app usage, small transfers, and everyday transactions should not heavily damage your Rep Score.
Why your score may not update immediately
Rep Score may not change instantly after one action. Your score can take time to update because it depends on reputation signals, account behavior, connections, group membership, and ecosystem activity.
If you recently completed an action that should improve your reputation, your score may update later.
Common reasons your Rep Score stays at 0
You are not part of the Gnosis group
Accounts that are not members of the Gnosis group have a Rep Score of 0. Your score may increase only after your account reaches the required membership or trust state.
Your account is new
New accounts may start with little or no reputation. Your Rep Score can improve as you participate and build trust signals over time.
You have no mutual connections
Mutual connections can help build reputation. A one-sided connection is usually not enough on its own.
You have not used Circles much
Rep Score depends partly on participation. If your account has very little activity, the system may not have enough information to increase your score.
Your temporary boost decayed
Some older boosts, such as legacy score or DappCon-related boosts, decay over time. If one of these boosts decreased, your Rep Score may also decrease.
You sold or moved away most of your gCRC
If your activity looks like you are quickly extracting value from the ecosystem, your Rep Score may stay low or decrease.
You completed an action but your score did not change
Rep Score is not always updated instantly. It is based on patterns over time, so one action may not immediately change your score.
