The Gnosis World Referral Campaign is no longer active.
This campaign was available from May 6, 2026 to June 30, 2026. Referrals, card activations, and qualifying card transactions outside the campaign period are not eligible for this campaign’s rewards. This article explains how the campaign worked while it was active.
What was the Gnosis World Referral Campaign?
The Gnosis World Referral Campaign encouraged users to invite friends and acquaintances to discover Gnosis App and the Circles economy through a referral link. The campaign was connected to Gnosis World, where communities could also create mini apps and tools to improve the Gnosis App and Circles experience. Selected projects could be considered for grants to support their development.
Campaign period
The campaign was available exclusively from May 6, 2026 to June 30, 2026.
Referral invites needed to be completed by June 30, 2026. However, referred users still had 30 days from their account activation to complete the required €10 in qualifying card spend, even if that card spend happened after June 30, 2026.
This means the invite needed to happen during the campaign period, but the qualifying card spend could be completed within the referred user’s 30-day eligibility window
Referral tiers
The campaign included four referral tiers based on the number of successful referrals made through your referral link.
Casual Earner — up to 2 successful referrals
Ambitious Earner — 3 to 4 successful referrals
Power Earner — 5 to 9 successful referrals
Top Earner — 10 or more successful referrals
Campaign rewards
Referral rewards were paid in gCRC for each successful referral.
Casual Earner — 10 EUR in gCRC per referral
Ambitious Earner — 15 EUR in gCRC per referral
Power Earner — 25 EUR in gCRC per referral
Top Earner — 40 EUR in gCRC per referral
Reward distribution took place every Tuesday while the campaign was active.
What counted as a successful referral?
For a referral to qualify for campaign rewards, the invited person needed to complete the required campaign steps.
The referred user needed to:
Sign up for Gnosis App using your referral link.
Complete all onboarding requirements under the App Terms, including any applicable card-related KYC and verification checks.
Order and activate a Gnosis Pay Card on or after May 6, 2026.
Make qualifying card spend during the campaign period.
To become eligible for campaign rewards, at least 3 referred users needed to join through your referral link by June 30, 2026 and make at least €10 in qualifying card spend within 30 days of their account activation. The qualifying card spend could happen after June 30, 2026, as long as it was completed within that 30-day window.
Leaderboard
The campaign included a leaderboard showing top participants.
The leaderboard could display information such as:
number of valid referrals
total CRC earned
Gnosis App username or chosen alias
Participation in the leaderboard was optional. Users who did not want to appear on the leaderboard could request removal without affecting referral rewards that were already vested or earned in the future.
Fair use and reward abuse
The campaign was designed for genuine referrals and healthy participation in the Circles economy.
Gnosis App could review or restrict activity if it reasonably suspected:
self-referrals
duplicate accounts
fraud
abuse of campaign mechanics
attempts to claw back or manipulate rewards
activity with prohibited merchant categories
breach of the campaign Terms & Conditions
If abusive activity was suspected, Gnosis App could take action at its discretion. This could include disqualifying past or pending referrals, withholding or delaying uncredited rewards, cancelling referral rewards, or excluding a participant from this or future referral programs.
Personal data and referral tracking
Personal data related to the campaign was processed according to the Privacy and Cookies Policy included in the App Terms.
This processing was used to:
track referrals
verify referred-user eligibility
check qualifying card spend
calculate and credit referral rewards
operate the leaderboard
prevent or investigate fraud, abuse, and prohibited activity
Important note
The Gnosis World Referral Campaign has ended. This means new referral invites after June 30, 2026 do not qualify for this campaign. Referred users who joined before the deadline could still complete the required €10 in qualifying card spend within 30 days of their account activation.
