We can't save your IBAN details

Learn what this means for you as a Gnosis App user.

If you have successfully completed your Gnosis Card KYC verification but receive an error message when attempting to use your IBAN & bank transfers, this usually means that our banking partner, Monerium, is unable to onboard your account for regulatory or compliance-related reasons.


❓ Why does this happen?

Gnosis Card and Bank Transfers are provided through different service providers, each with its own compliance requirements and eligibility criteria. In some cases, Monerium may be unable to offer Bank Transfer services due to factors such as:

  • Country availability restrictions

  • Regulatory requirements

  • Compliance policies

  • Other onboarding limitations specific to the Bank Transfer service

As a result, it is possible to be approved for a Gnosis Card while not being eligible IBAN creation.


🐛 Does this affect my Gnosis Card?

No. If Monerium is unable to onboard you for an IBAN, you can still continue using your:

  • Gnosis Card

  • Gnosis App

  • Other supported features and services

Only the Bank Transfer functionality will be unavailable.


🧰 Can I resolve this issue?

Unfortunately, onboarding decisions for Bank Transfers are determined by Monerium's compliance and regulatory requirements. In many cases, these restrictions cannot be overridden. If your eligibility status changes in the future, Bank Transfer access may become available, but there is currently no action required on your part.
