Correcting your country or residency in KYC

How to fix an incorrect country or residency selection made during KYC, and what to do if your citizenship or geographic eligibility is flagged.

Correcting your country or residency in KYC

If you selected the wrong country during KYC, need to update your residency, or have been told your country is not eligible, this article explains your options.

I selected the wrong country during registration

The country you select during registration is used for KYC and regulatory purposes. It cannot be changed from within the app once submitted. To correct it, you need to contact support.

When you contact us, please provide:

  1. Your registered email address

  2. The country you incorrectly selected

  3. The correct country of residence you want to switch to

  4. Proof of address for the correct country (a utility bill, bank statement, or official letter dated within the last 3 months)

Our compliance team will review your request. If the correction is approved, your KYC will be reset so you can resubmit with the correct country details. This process typically takes 2–5 business days.

My country is not supported

Gnosis Card is not available in all countries. If your country of residence is not on the supported list, you will not be able to complete KYC or activate a card. Unfortunately, eligibility restrictions are based on regulatory requirements and cannot be overridden by support.

If you believe your country should be supported and you are receiving an error, please contact support with your country of residence so the team can investigate whether there is a configuration issue.

I moved countries after completing KYC

If you have relocated and your country of residence has changed since completing KYC, contact support to discuss your options. Depending on the countries involved, you may need to resubmit KYC with updated documents showing your new address.

Important

Do not attempt to resubmit your KYC with incorrect country details as a workaround — this can result in your account being flagged or permanently blocked. Always contact support first if you need a country or residency correction.
